David was born and raised in Toronto, Canada where he currently resides with his wife and four children. Though he went to Hebrew Day School and had a Bar Mitzvah, David lived a secular lifestyle for most of his life. He caught the broadcasting bug on "the Zelda show", a Jewish radio program on CHIN FM Multicultural radio where started off promoting his mortgage business. After being part of the show for three years, David evolved into a passionate Zionist, and following that came his desire to explore Judaism and his Jewish roots.
